Sessions run for 1.5 to 2 hours per workshop. After working with you to create an activity plan, our team of makers will take care of everything from set up, carrying out the session plan and clearing away again.
At the end of every workshop, every participant will receive a Wondermake take home pack containing a notebook and pen, certificate of completion, Wondermake tote bag and link to further recourses they can explore at home.
What to expect on the day
Wondermake workshops are designed to spark curiosity and build confidence whilst being creative. We want every participant to feel supported right through to the finishing touches of their project.
Seamless Setup: On the day of your workshop our team of makers handles all the preparation, arriving ahead of time to set up the room and materials in time to start the session.
During the Session
Session Guidance: We will guide the group through the process step by step, using hands on support and encouraging artistic expression.
Clean up and Final Touches: after the activity we will take care of all clear up ensuring the room is cleaned and returned to its original set up before leaving.
If your finished artwork requires any hand finishing or finalising, we will ensure this is completed back at our studio. Your work will then be returned to you to be taken home later.
What makes our workshops unique?
Whilst our focus leans to the the practical, interactive approach to the workshops, we aim to use themes and narratives to guide our activities. This allows us to start conversations with the participants and get them thinking a little deeper about the process and thoughts behind the making.
Whether this be a self-reflective based theme or something more open ended, it is exciting to see how these ideas are individually expressed through to a collection of finished outcomes.
